This weekend the core members of Hitched will be getting together to rehearse some new material for inclusion in our set. It’s important to us that we keep our repertoire as fresh as possible and to give ourselves as many options as we can when we play live. Often we find ourselves learning new tunes ‘on the fly’ as we are usually pretty busy gigging but since we had the opportunity and the time we thought we’d make the most of it. So think of us, stuck in a windowless room toiling away whilst you make the most of the sunshine!

You probably won’t be surprised to learn that we’re big fans of live music, and certainly for me personally some of the best and most thrilling moments of my life have been either whilst onstage myself, or watching my favourite bands play. It is an emotional experience that excites and moves me in ways other artistic mediums just can’t match. A great song….a great groove – something you can feel – played by a great band is unmatchable.
